Today we will make kurkuri bhindi. It can be served as a snack or as a side dish.
Let’s see what ingredients are required for making kurkuri bhindi.
Lady finger - 200 gram (washed and dry clean with a cloth)
Gram flour - 2 tbsp
Corn flour - 2 tbsp
Salt - ½ tsp
Garam masala - ¼ tsp
Mango powder - ¼ tsp
Red chilly powder - ¼ tsp
Turmeric powder - less then ¼ tsp
Chaat masala - ½ tsp
Oil - to fry lady fingers
Cut lady finger firstly for making kurkuri bhindi.
Remove the ends from both side and cut it into two equal halves.
Again silt it into two halves.
If the lady finger is long cut it into two parts.
Like wise cut all lady fingers.
Take all sliced lady fingers in a big bowl.
Now add salt, mango powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chilly powder in the bowl.
Mix all spices nicely until they get coated on the lady fingers.
Keep them aside for 10 minutes so that the spices stick to lady fingers nicely.
Now add corn flour and gram flour in the bowl.
Mix them nicely until they get coated on the lady fingers.
Meanwhile heat oil in a pan. Turn the gas on.
When oil is hot; place lady fingers in the oil gently.
Fry until it becomes crispy and brown.
Keep tossing and flipping the lady fingers.
Take them out once they become brown.
It takes 7-8 minute sin frying lady fingers for one time.
Sprinkle chaat masala on top the fried lady fingers.
Kurkuri bhindi is ready.
