How to Prepare for Cheerleading Tryouts : All About Taking Cheerleading Lessons

Hi, my name is Lucy Spain on behalf of Expert Village here to talk about an introduction
into cheer leading. Once you decided what squad and what level your going to tryout
for and you have your list of required elements, you're definitely going to want to practice
and master those skills as to any other trade. A great way to do this is to reach out to
members in the community who offer cheerleader programs. It's also good if you can to get
in touch with other people in your school who are involved in the sport already or who
may already participated. You can also get in touch with the coach or the captain of
the squad . They will let you know lessons of the classes are offered. One of my favorite
ways to get ready for the cheer leading season is a cheer leading camp this is going to be
like any other summer camp except for it's made strictly for cheerleaders. It's going
to be really fun, you're going to get to pack your bags and head off for probably a week,
you are going to meet a lot of other girls your age who are interested in the same thing
you are. You are going to make sure that you need to pack a lot of camp stuff, comfortable
clothes cause you're going to be waking up early cheering all day, practicing stunts,
getting dirty and having fun. It's a great way to leave with lots of new friends and
lots of new skills. It's also a way to share cheers, pyramids and stunts that other squads
have so you can bring them into your own team if you do end up making it. So I definitely
recommend taking community classes, cheer leading camps, school classes. A good way
to find out about them is to look up on the internet for your community also in the phone
book and also inquire from your coach.
