Today we will make capsicum with chickpea flour.
It is very tempting and can be prepared instantly.
Let's see what all ingredients are required for making capsicum with chickpea flour.
Capsicum - 3 (300 grams)
Chickpea flour - 2 tbsp
Green coriander - 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Oil - 2-3 tbsp
Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Red chilly powder - ¼ tsp
Fennel powder - 1 tsp
Salt - more then ½ tsp (as per taste)
Garam masala powder - less then ¼ tsp
Ginger - 1 inch piece or 1 tsp paste
Cumin powder - ½ tsp
Asafoetida - 1-2 pinch
Mango powder - ¼ tsp (mandatory)
Cut capsicum. Remove the stalk and seeds nicely.
Slice capsicum into small square pieces with ½ inch size.
Roast gram flour for few minutes.
Keep stirring constantly and cook until there is slight change in the color.
Take out gram flour in a plate when you get to smell good aroma.
Add oil in a pan.
When oil gets hot add cumin seeds, asafoetida, turmeric powder, coriander powder, ginger, capsicum pieces, salt, red chilly powder and fennel powder.
Also add roasted gram flour and mango powder.
Mix all ingredients really well.
Cook until capsicum gets coated with spices nicely.
Also add garam masala powder and mix well.
Cover the pan with lid and cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes.
After 2 minutes stir the Sabzi so that it doesn't stick to pan.
Cover it again and cook for 2 minutes more.
Check again after 2 minutes.
Now add green coriander leaves also and mix nicely.
Cover and cook for another 2 minutes.
Don't over cook the capsicum keep them crunchy.
Take out Sabzi in a serving plate.
Capsicum with chickpea flour is ready.
Serve with chapatti, parantha, naan or rice.
It is a best Sabzi to be packed in tiffin as it is prepared instantly and tastes awesome.
