THE FLEET.
THE CHIEF OF NAVAL OPERATIONS ADMIRAL JONATHAN GREENERT AND MASTER CHIEF PETTY OFFICER OF
THE NAVY MIKE STEVENS VISITED USS DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER OVER THE THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY.
DURING THE VISIT THE CNO AND MCPON TOURED THE SHIP, HELPED SERVE THANKSGIVING DINNER,
AND HELD AN ALL-HANDS CALL WHERE THE CNO REENLISTED 26 SAILORS.
USS MICHAEL MURPHY ARRIVED TO HER NEW HOMEPORT OF JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM NOVEMBER
21ST. THE NEWEST DESTROYER HONORS NAVY SEAL LT. MICHAEL MURPHY, WHO WAS POSTHUMOUSLY
AWARDED THE MEDAL OF HONOR FOR HIS ACTIONS DURING OPERATION RED WINGS IN AFGHANISTAN
