Hi i'm Mark for Elmer's and today we're gonna be filling in this gap of the
chair rail
and i'm going to do so using Elmer's Carpenter's Wood Filler now this
interior wood filler is a great material for this kind of application it won't
shrink or crack on you here you can sand and paint but today we'll just stick
with the white wood filler
now given the contour of this chair rail gap
i think what i'll do is just apply
a liberal dose my wood filler and work it in with my finger so i get a nice
clean look
and
don't be shy about using plenty because we can smooth this out
and I'll show you that in just a minute
So work in your wood filler

and a little moisture on your finger tip would do the trick
You're almost there, now what I like to do
is take a moistened cloth
and just kind of rub it over the chair rail and smooth it out nicely

Here we go
all we have left to do is to tackle some of these nail holes
let's set up for several hours and you'll have a nice clean look
