My research involves either detecting, and/or killing "bad bugs".
We work with a lot of food products. we're either testing for pathogens,
or trying to kill pathogens with anti microbials.
We also work with "good bugs" to try to kill the "bad bugs"
All in the interest of food safety.
Its nice to work at a known entity, like OSU, a great university,
and also to work in the food product center.
It's a center that was designed and built to assist Oklahoma food processors.

So making food safety helps, not just Oklahomans that helps everybody nationally and worldwide
