Dear Sweden, welcome back to Cystal Hall Arena, where the audience are still cheering for Loreen.
This has not happened since the 90’s. Welcome to the new millennium:
Abba, Herreys, Carola, Charlotte Nilsson and now Loreen Talhaoui – Sweden’s new winner!
Congratulations, how do you feel right now?
I don’t know, it feels so unreal. I’m so happy. I’m happy for so many things.
My team that I’ve been working with, I love them.
I don’t believe it would have happened if it wasn’t for these people. I’m happy.
Let’s take a look at the team, we have Ausben Jordan who danced. Johanna Beijbom, Monica Stark and Britta Bergström.
Loreen, you got points from 41 out of 42 countries. You managed to unite the whole of Europe with your performance and music.
What you think is so special about your performance with Euphoria?
I think that most of us managed to connect with Euphoria because we recognize the feeling, to be honest.
It’s not only about me, it’s about all of us.
Most of us are tired of all the stuff we put on our bodies and just want to be ourselves without thinking so much about our looks.
I don’t wear a lot of make-up, I’m barefoot and I’m on stage on my own.
There’s a kind of nakedness in it, and I believe most people can relate to that.
I agree. And your performance also tells a story. Tell us about it.
Oh, there are so many messages with this performance… it’s about how beautiful we are without putting all these things on our bodies.
It’s about that, and all the dance moves are in slow motion to show that we need to take it easy and relax.
Your 3 minutes on stage ware amazing tonight and people salute you all over the Internet.
What do you want to say to all the Swedish people who are watching right now?
Can I look into the camera? Which one?
I don’t know if I should talk Swedish or English, but I have to talk Swedish since they are in Sweden.
Sweden, thank you for believing in me. Thank you for being there. I love you, this is for you.
Finally, how will you celebrate tonight, Loreen?
Oh wow, I don’t know… I’m not much of a party chick you know but I’ll have to party tonight anyway.
Yes we will force you to party tonight, we will drag you out. Sweetheart, well done tonight.
Congratulations. Loreen, our fifth winner of Eurovision Song Contest 2012.
Can we talk to Thomas and Peter? Sweden’s songwriters Thomas G:son and Peter Boström.
Peter who makes his debut, this is your first song in Eurovision Song Contest. What a damn debut!
Yeah, you can not top this…
Here comes the question, how does it feels Thomas?
It feels very good actually! Amazing, this is crazy.
You managed a song that united all of Europe, what’s the key to a Eurovision winner?
What’s the key? Well it’s to match a good song with a wonderful artist like this.
Continue to compliment me now! God damn...
A big congratulations. Christer Björkman, what are you holding in your hand?
Something I have dreamt of for a very long time!
Christer, when was the last time you breathed?
Wow that was a long time ago now, we have been absolutely in shock. We received points from countries that we usually don’t get,
I said to Loreen several times: “We have never been given points from this country,
this is starting to look like something really good!” It was crazy.
So amazing. Shall we hand over the trophy to Loreen?
I must give you a hug.
All of us from Baku, Azerbaijan, thank you for watching tonight. Thank you for this, what an incredible evening for Sweden.
Have a good night. Goodbye Sweden. Congratulations Loreen!
