SHEENA DIMATTEO: Hey, everyone.
Hope you are enjoying the holidays.
And thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule of
eating, drinking, and being merry to come here and check
out our nominees for the Top 10 Dance Videos of 2011.
Now, as I take you through these nominees, you will
notice at the bottom of each video on the lower right-hand
side a "Vote Here" symbol.
As you click that, you'll be taken to your favorite video,
where you must click Like in order for your votes to count.
Let's check out the nominees.
The opening dance scene from The Muppets stars Jason Segel
and new muppet Walter.
"I've Got Everything That I Need" was choreographed by
Michael Rooney and involved dozens of fantastic dancers.
SHEENA DIMATTEO: Up next is Big Freedia's video for "Y'all
All Get Back Now." The queen diva slammed onto the scene
with her New Orleans bounce music accompanied by the booty
bounce dance style.
SHEENA DIMATTEO: Comedian Nathan Barnatt showed us an
original dance move that spread across YouTube like
wildfire, making the "No Bones" dance one of
the greats of 2011.
SHEENA DIMATTEO: Sean Bankhead beat Beyonce to the punch when
he released his version of "Who Run the World" weeks
before Bey's official video came out.
The dancers in this video truly know how to work.
SHEENA DIMATTEO: Ginnifer Goodwin and Kate Hudson showed
the world that they know how to bust a move in the film
Something Borrowed.
The dance to "Push It" was choreographed by John Carrafa
and spawned an outbreak of dance response videos.
SHEENA DIMATTEO: Performer Non Stop brought a whole new life
to the Foster the People track "Pumped Up Kicks" when he
uploaded this dubstep dance video.
SHEENA DIMATTEO: Though some were skeptical of a Footloose
remake, most jumped on board when they saw Jamal Sims'
awesome choreography.
The country line dance scene also showed off the true
talents of Footloose stars Kenny Wormald
and Julianne Hough.
SHEENA DIMATTEO: Triple threat Todrick Hall released three
amazing dance videos this year.
But the one we've nominated for Best Dance Video is "The
SHEENA DIMATTEO: Lady Gaga had multiple music videos filled
with choreography from Laurieann Gibson and Richy
Jackson in 2011.
But it was her HBO special that allowed fans to witness
the pop star's incredible dance skills on a live stage.
SHEENA DIMATTEO: Rosh Hashanah got its own dance-fueled rock
anthem from the guys of Street Art Productions and Aish.com.
With hilarious lyrics and killer BBoy moves, this Jewish
sensation rounds out our top 10.
SHEENA DIMATTEO: OK guys, there are our top 10 nominees
