Aloo Cabbage Fry indian recipe

Namaskar and welcome to
Today we will make cabbage aloo sabzi.
Let's see what all ingredients are required for making aloo cabbage sabzi.
Cabbage - 1 (medium size)
Potato - 4 (250 grams approx)
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida - 1 pinch
Red chilly powder - 1/4 tsp
Ginger - 1 inch piece (chopped)
Salt - 3/4 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Green chilly - 2-3 (chopped)
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Mango powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
Firstly peel potatoes,
Dip potatoes in water after peeling or else they may turn black in color if left in open.
Also cut cabbage like this.
Place pan on flame and add 2 tbsp oil into it.
Add cumin seeds,turmeric powder,coriander powder and green chilly.
Saute the masala for few minutes.
Now add sliced potatoes and cabbage.
This much sabzi can be served to four family members.
Also add salt and mix all ingredients nicely.
Keep stirring for 2 minutes.
Add red chilly powder as well.
Now add 2-3 tbsp water and cook on low flame.
Cook sabzi on low flame as it is for 10-12 minutes.
Check and stir the sabzi for once.
Again cover the pan and cook sabzi for 5-6 minutes more.
Sabzi is almost ready and don't overcook the sabzi.
Don't make a greasy sabzi as it will not taste tempting as well as will not have good texture.
Sabzi is ready now add mango powder and garam masala powder into it.
Turn off the gas.
Also add green coriander leaves in the sabzi.
Flavorful and mouth watering aloo cabbage sabzi is ready.
We have used 1 medium size cabbage and 4 (250 grams) potatoes for making this recipe.
This much quantity can be served to 4-5 family members.
