[MUSIC PLAYING]
KOURTNEY RICHARD: Hey, you guys.
What's up?
Welcome to DanceTube.
I'm your host, Kourtney Richard.
And it's Friday, yeah!
Now we've got to announce the winner
from last week's episode.
And guess who's the winner?!
Mike Song, yeah, you won!
Aah!
You had the most Likes, congratulations.
And you had a dope video.
All right, back to the show.
I had a chance to catch up with Elm from boogiezone.
Check out the interview.
ELM PIZARRO: I'm actually calling from Aliso Viejo,
California.
It's a little town south of LA, about an hour.
When I moved here to California, I didn't really
have very many dance friends or any connection to the
community down here.
And so what I did is I started an online resource--
kind of platform for communication, called
boogiezone.
That was about 2003.
I actually taught the piece for the first time at my dance
company auditions, called Breed, back in January.
And it features Alexis Avila, Knicole Haggens, Marshawn
Norris, and Loretta Alvillar, who are
my directors, basically.
And we, pretty much, run our own crew here,
an exhibition company.
[MUSIC - NICKI MINAJ, "ROMANS REVENGE]
KOURTNEY RICHARD: All right, thank you so much, Elm, for
chopping it up with me.
And you better answer your phone next time
I'm in LA, all right.
All right, now, next video I found.
Check it out.
[MUSIC - KELLY ROWLAND, "MOTIVATION"]
KOURTNEY RICHARD: Now Luam choreographed Kelly Rowland's
performance over at the BET Awards.
Good job, good song, good dance.
The dance was hot.
Everything was hot.
All right, check out the next video I found.
[MUSIC - KANYE WEST, "LOOKING FOR TROUBLE"]
KOURTNEY RICHARD: Andrew, the dance was hot, and the style
of the video was sick, all right.
Now let's check in with Moon from IME.
[MUSIC - MANN, "BUZZIN'"]
KOURTNEY RICHARD: Moon and thing did the damn thing!
All right, good job.
Now let's check in with the submission of the week.
[MUSIC - LENA, "TAKEN BY A STRANGER"]
KOURTNEY RICHARD: Good job, ladies!
Now on to the next.
[MUSIC - BIG SEAN, "DANCE (A$$)"]
KOURTNEY RICHARD: All right, Kyle, love the video.
