LANA MCKISSACK: This is Shakira.
BRYAN TANAKA: Them hips don't lie.
[SINGING "WHENEVER, WHEREVER"]
[SINGING "SOMETIMES"]
That's my Britney.
BRYAN TANAKA: Dang.
Money.
LANA MCKISSACK: Yes.
[THEME MUSIC]
LANA MCKISSACK: Hi.
BRYAN TANAKA: What's up?
So I'm working Lana McKissack, and I'm super stoked.
Ah, how you doing?
Nice to meet you.
LANA MCKISSACK: Excellent.
Nice to meet you.
BRYAN TANAKA: I'm Bryan.
LANA MCKISSACK: Hi, I'm Lana.
I want to dance with sexy people.
That's all I want in life, so that's why
I'm doing this show.
BRYAN TANAKA: What nationality are you?
LANA MCKISSACK: Half Japanese and half white.
BRYAN TANAKA: Hapa!
LANA MCKISSACK: Hapa!
BRYAN TANAKA: Me too.
LANA MCKISSACK: You're half Japanese?
BRYAN TANAKA: Yeah.
LANA MCKISSACK: Half Japanese people are magical.
I was happy to find that Bryan is just like me.
He's my soul brother.
BRYAN TANAKA: What's something cool about you that I don't
know about?
LANA MCKISSACK: I'm a singer.
BRYAN TANAKA: I've seen a couple of videos of you
singing too.
LANA MCKISSACK: Are you stalking me?
BRYAN TANAKA: I just do my research.
LANA MCKISSACK: [SINGING]
Hold me in your arms.
BRYAN TANAKA: Now you're teaming up with me.
LANA MCKISSACK: I know.
BRYAN TANAKA: And now we're going to make some
magic for this show.
LANA MCKISSACK: Hapa magic.
BRYAN TANAKA: Hapa magic, yo.
Hapa magic.
She's a performer, and I got that right away from her.
And I got to bring it out of her even more.
So are you ready to go?
LANA MCKISSACK: I'm ready.
BRYAN TANAKA: Let's get it started.
Let's just get in there.
The song I get to do work with today is pretty awesome.
Lil Mama--
it's called "So Much Money."
Have you ever done any pole work or anything?
LANA MCKISSACK: That's a really personal question.
BRYAN TANAKA: Strip club scene.
I wanted you up here.
But I think for just the performance idea of it all,
I'm going to do a role reversal, and you're going to
be the one almost paying me to dance.
LANA MCKISSACK: All right.
The whole dance takes place in a strip club, but the roles
are reversed.
I am the patron, and Bryan is the pole dancer.
BRYAN TANAKA: The tables got turned, and now, I happen to
be up on the table.
[MUSIC - LIL MAMA, "SO MUCH MONEY"]

LANA MCKISSACK: As a strip club connoisseur, I gave a lot
of pointers to Bryan as far as what he should do.
No, I've never been to a strip club.
This is not true.
I'm lying.
BRYAN TANAKA: And everything we tried today seemed to work.
And there was a couple instances where she added her
super splits.
Oh.
Oh girl, you're straight.
LANA MCKISSACK: This side.
But look at my right side.
I have a favorite leg.
Like people favorite kids, I have favorite legs.
BRYAN TANAKA: Let's go down to the split, and you're giving
it up to G-O-D. And I could be like, pick you up.
LANA MCKISSACK: Oh, that's cool.
We're adding it so we can show off something that I can do
that maybe other people can't do.
I don't know, maybe everyone else can do the splits.
I doubt it.
BRYAN TANAKA: The only interesting part is, I'll be
between your legs.
Ha ha.
LANA MCKISSACK: Bryan spends a lot of time between my legs in
this dance.
[MUSIC - LIL MAMA, "SO MUCH MONEY"]
BRYAN TANAKA: Five, six--
LANA MCKISSACK: Oh, I'm sorry.
Are you OK?
I'm sorry.
I had a little bit of a Tonya Harding moment.
And when I saw that Bryan was clearly superior to me in
every way, I had to take him out.
LANA MCKISSACK: Man down!
BRYAN TANAKA: Man down!
LANA MCKISSACK: Help!
BRYAN TANAKA: It kind of hurt.
I might have to ice my head later.
But it's all part of it.
You get bruised up sometimes.
LANA MCKISSACK: I'm good.
I just think that it would help me get into character if
you actually stripped.
[MUSIC - LIL MAMA, "SO MUCH MONEY"]

LANA MCKISSACK: And Bryan starts stripping.
From that moment on, I saw the light.
I saw the abs, and then the light came shortly thereafter.
I'm not single, so I did not hear love songs.
I'm actually engaged.
Yay.
This is my great announcement!
I'm engaged!
Tell my mom.
BRYAN TANAKA: Boom chak, wha, wha.
Yes!
Hair!
Hair!
More hair!
Beyonce gives hair--
more hair.
And maybe you start to get dizzy a little.
LANA MCKISSACK: No, I'm not dizzy.
I'm totally cool.
BRYAN TANAKA: Huh.
LANA MCKISSACK: Looking good.
BRYAN TANAKA: I think you you'll definitely see a good
chemistry between us.
She brought a lot of good focus.
And when it was time to get down to learning the routine
and steps, she was ready to go.
[MUSIC - LIL MAMA, "SO MUCH MONEY"]

LANA MCKISSACK: You Tube, please help me.
I need to win this competition so that I
can pay for my wedding.
Please vote for me.
I'm going to dance my tuchus off, and you're
going to like it.
BRYAN TANAKA: Make it rain.
You better make it rain.
LANA MCKISSACK: Subscribe.
