Today I'm going to show you how to make a no-sew fleecy pillow. What we'll need for
this project is a pillow form. A ready-made pillow form you can pick up at a fabric store
or craft store. You'll need an assortment of the fleecy fabrics. Some small pieces.
And then you'll need some larger pieces for the base pillow cover. You'll want the base
pillow cover pieces are going to be six inches bigger than the pillow form. This pillow form
is 14 inches so I have 20 inch squares of our base fleecy fabric. You'll need a pair
of very sharp scissors. It makes the job much easier. And it's good to have a ruler handy.
First I'm going to demonstrate how to decorate our no-sew fleecy pillow with flowers. We're
going to place the flowers onto the pillow before we cut and tie the fringe. So first
thing we'll do is let's, I'll show you how to make a pattern for the flower. Take a piece
of paper and fold it in half and then just fold it in thirds like this diagonally. Okay.
And then just cut like a little ice cream cone shape. And when you open it up you have
a nice pattern for a flower. Now you can make your flowers any size you want and you want
to think about what kind of colors and what you'd like to use. Another good shape to use
is a butterfly. I have a butterfly pattern that I just fold the paper in half and play
around with it. And you can apply butterflies the same as the flower.
