This just may be my favorite time of the year.
A crisp New England day in
beautiful Durham, New Hampshire.
Hi.
I'm Heather Brydon.
Welcome to campus.
You'll be busy all semester long, so right now,
sit back and relax.
Or stand up and dance, if you want.
Because we're about to take you on a musical tour of UNH
Health Services.
I wanna feel the best I can, to get the most
out of being on campus.
Who's got my back on this?
Luckily, there's a place that exists.
UNH Health Services has got my back.
Confidential, they'll treat me right.
UNH Health Services has got my back.
You know they're keeping me healthy.

Health Services wants to be every student's first choice
for confidential health care and health education.
Taking a holistic approach, health services encourages and
supports personal responsibility for achieving
and maintaining wellness.
Every student pays a required health fee, and the
professional staff at Health Services is here to
administer that care.
They have board certified physicians, nurse
practitioners and nurses all on staff, plus a full
complement of support services.
It's like having your family provider right here on campus.
Your home away from home.
Health Services, helping you reach your full potential
through wellness.
I wanna feel the best I can, to get the
most out of my education.
Who's got my back on this?
Luckily, I got my wish.

Now if that doesn't get your blood flowing, how about a
triage department staffed with a team of registered nurses to
assess your illness or injury.
From allergy shots and immunizations, to medical care
for acute and chronic illnesses, injuries and mental
health, it's all covered at Health Services.
They also offer services for men and a women's health team,
plus a state-approved travel health clinic for those of you
traveling abroad.
And remember, any time of the day or night, you have access
to clinical services.
After Health Services closes their doors for the evening,
Wentworth Douglass Hospital in Dover opens theirs to provide
after hours care for students whose medical
needs cannot wait.

When you're feeling kind of gross and you're coughin' like
a crow, and Health Services is closed, where do you go?
When you've got the flu and your face is turning blue, and
you need something new, what do you do?

All your troubles will be over.

All you have to do for after hours care is call Health
Services and press two.
You'll be connected to the Emergency Department right
here at Wentworth Douglass Hospital, where a nurse will
conduct a phone assessment.
Believe me, it's comforting knowing you have 24/7 care.
Back here on campus, Health Services offers a laboratory
for standard tests, a radiology department for
x-rays, and a pharmacy for common prescription and
nonprescription medicines.
Just call in for a refill and stop by to pick it up.
A handy dandy service students love.
Here you go.
Thank you.
You're welcome.
When I went off to class one day, my throat began to hurt.
I had a major project due.
Could this get any worse?
Well thanks to Health Services, and their great
pharmacy, I got myself some lozenges.
The throat pain seemed to flee.
Check out the pharmacy.
They really took care of me.
At the rock-bottom rate.
The pharmacy is great.
I sat down to study.
That's when I stubbed my toe.
I had a big exam I didn't want to blow.
Well thanks to Health Services, I
got some pain relief.
I felt a whole lot that better.
They took away my grief.

know the office of Health Education and
Promotion can help you.
