We can help you out if you need lot of space or a small amount of space, so how about I show you around. We use shipping containers as storages units and shipping containers typically come in one or two sizes. We use 20-foot shipping containers, which are perfect for household storage and we can divide those up into smaller storage spaces as well.
Our container storage customers would typically be a domestic customer, so someone who has a house load of furniture and goods who wants to store, but we also have commercial customers who store truck loads and pallet loads and container loads of furniture or other goods that they import and they use this as a base for their business.
Storex is a great place for storing trucks and boats and that we have the space for it. If you’re going to store a semi-trailer you need to be able to turn it around, you need to be able to back it in and most storage facilities cannot afford the space to be able to store trucks.
Storex is really well located, quite close to East Link Freeway and so, when people are coming down from the city and they want to head to the coast or down to Lake’s Entrance or even down the Peninsula. It’s great stop off on the way to pick up your boat and keep going.
Storex has a staffed office five days a week and on Saturday mornings as well. Once you are a customer you can have 24 hours access to the facility into your storage space. When you come as a customer, we try to work your paperwork through in probably five to ten minutes and within that timeframe, we can give you an access code to the gate, issue you with your storage unit and if you have a padlock that’s great and you’re ready to go and you can start storing straight away.
When we started Storex, we decided to put all the things into a storage facility that were important. We have got great security, we have got great storage solutions and a heap of space, but we’ve done it in a way that was cost-effective and we are determined to pass it on to the customer through lower storage fees.
