>>ELLEN: Well, I love introducing you to talented people we find on YouTube. From Rochester,
New York, please welcome Kait Weston everybody.
>>[music, audience cheers]
>>ELLEN: So Kait, I saw you on YouTube and you have a beautiful voice.
>>KAIT: Thank you.
>>ELLEN: So other people should see her on my show as well as on YouTube. What made you
start posting on YouTube?
>>KAIT: Well, it’s a good place to get exposure and, I mean, I’m here now so I guess it
was a good idea.
>>ELLEN: Right. Yeah, we saw you and liked you, and you have something else. I love music
but I also love cats and I understand – I saw these pictures. You rescued this cat,
right? And then it started gaining a little bit of weight.
>>KAIT: I thought it was pregnant.
>>ELLEN: Thought it was pregnant? It was pregnant.
>>KAIT: It was pregnant.
>>ELLEN: It turns out it was. Cutest little- how many kittens? Look at those.
>>KAIT: Five.
>>AUDIENCE: Awwww.
>>KAIT: Five little babies.
>>ELLEN: Those are like tiny. How old are those?
>>KAIT: Um, like a week and three days now.
>>ELLEN: A week? Their eyes are just opening up.
>>KAIT: Yeah, they’re just opening up.
>>ELLEN: You have to find homes for those kittens now.
>>KAIT: I know.
>>ELLEN: If anybody wants kittens.
>>KAIT: Anybody want kittens?
>>ELLEN: In about 5 or 6 weeks, not yet, but that’s cute. That’s really cute. All right,
you’re going to sing for us, right? All right, enjoy.
>>KAIT: All right.
>>[audience applauds]
>>KAIT [singing]: Do you ever feel like a plastic bag
Drifting through the wind Wanting to start again
Do you ever feel, feel so paper thin Like a house of cards
One blow from caving in
Do you ever feel already buried deep Six feet under scream
But no one seems to hear a thing
Do you know that there's still a chance for you
Cause there's a spark in you
You just gotta ignite the light And let it shine
Just own the night Like the Fourth of July
Cause baby you're a firework Come on show 'em what you're worth
Make 'em go "Oh, yeah!" You're gunna leave 'em fallin' down-own-own
Boom, boom, boom Even brighter than the moon, moon, moon
It's always been inside of you, you, you And now it's time to let it through
Cause baby you're a firework Come on show 'em what you're worth
Make 'em go "Oh, oh, yeah!" You're gunna leave 'em fallin' down-own-own
>>[audience cheers]
>>KAIT: Thank you.
>>ELLEN: Great job.
>>KAIT: Thank you.
>>ELLEN: Thank you for being here. That is fantastic. Up next, we have Kevin McHale
from Glee.
