Tawa Masala Powder Recipe

Namaskar, welcome to nishamadulika.com.
Today, we will prepare Tawa Masala which is also known as Bharwa masala.
This Masala is used to fry vegetables on Tawa or to enhance the taste of a vegetable.
Let us see what all do we require to prepare Tawa Masala.
Saunf (Fennel seeds ) - 6 tsp.
Dhaniya seeds - 4 tsp.
Methi (Fenugreek seeds) - 2 tsp.
Jeera (cumin) - 2 tsp.
Aamchur powder - 2 tsp.
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp.
Pepper - 1 tsp.
Red pepper - 3 to 4.
Cloves - 8 to 10.
Cinnamon - A piece of 2 inches.
Heeng (Asafoetida) - less than 1/4 tsp.
Brown cardamom - 10.
We will peel the brown cardamoms first.
Now, we will roast the whole spices.
Turn on the gas.
Take Saunf, dhaniya seeds, methi dana and jeera.
Roast them it mid-flame.
We have now roasted the spices for 2 minutes.
We will also add pepper, cinnamon, cloves and red pepper pods.
Roast the spices for 1 more minute.
Turn off the gas and we will grind the spices now.
Take all the spices in the jar of the mixer.
Also add cardamom powder, aamchur powder, heeng powder and turmeric powder in it.
Now, we will make a coarse powder of these spices.
The Masala is ready after grinding.
The Tawa Masala is now ready.
You should fry the vegetables in this Masala or prepare
stuffed vegetable by mixing the desired amount of salt in it.
