Hey, I'm Keri Glassman here with some quick and simple tips to help you feel just a little
bit better. Today is the final episode in my series of Five Forever Foods! These foods
are versatile, delicious, and good for you. So much so, that you should keep them on your
permanent grocery list now, always and forever! Garbanzo beans, also known as chickpeas, may
just be the unsung heroes of the bean world. Their usefulness runs the range from simple
to complex. Eat them right out of the can on a salad, sauté them, turn them into hummus
or use them as the base of hearty veggie burger. Try baking them with a little balsamic vinegar,
curry powder and olive oil and serving them as an appetizer. Super simple and they'll
be a hit at your next party! Chickpeas are loaded with fiber, protein and antioxidants.
And bonus: they are inexpensive. Studies have also linked them to satiety -– the feeling
of fullness, or being satisfied. All that fiber and protein fills you up faster so you're
