Hi, thanks for joining me and welcome to another edition of my 12 weeks of Halloween.
This is the project we're making today.
You can put some Halloween treats inside here.
You'll start with two scallop circles cut out with the Scallop Circle Die with the Big Shot Die Cut Machine.
The first thing you need to do is take a ruler and a Stylus ...count over ten scallops and score.
Same thing for this scallop.
Cut that piece off.
Emboss both pieces with the Spider Web Embossing Folder.
Let's make the box .. you're going to need two pieces of Black card stock.
Score @ 1-1/2 on three sides (left, right and bottom).
Same thing on the 2nd piece.
Fold on the score lines.
Cut two squares out on this piece.
On this piece cut up to the score lines only.
Add adhesive.
Add adhesive here as well.
Attach Scallops to box.
One on the front and one on the back.
Put Sticky Strip on the box.
Now we're ready to decorate the box.
We'll be using the Howlstooth Designer Series Paper.
We're going to score it at every 1/2".
with the Simply Scored Scoring Tool.
Fold on all the score lines.
Set it aside for a minute.
Cut out two 3/4" Black Circles.
Add about four mini glue dots to each circle.
cut off one strip.
Add sticky strip.
Stick black circle on top to hold it.
Turn over and attach the other one.
a hot glue gun works a little easier.
Our rosette is complete.
stamp the skull from the Monster Munchies stamp set onto Very Vanilla card stock using Basic Gray ink.
Cut it out with the 1-1/4 Circle punch.
Add dimensional to back.
and add to front of rosette.
Add dimensional to back and add to box.
Spray with a mixture of Frost White Shimmer Paint and Alcohol.
And then add some Crinkle paper.
