Whooo's Your Valentine? National Papercrafting Month: January 2013

(Kristine) Hi, I’m Kristine from Close To My Heart and I am head
over heels in love, you’re going to be too, because January is
National Papercrafting Month and we are celebrating with an

more through January 31st. So, let’s take a look at what comes in
this awesome kit. First of all, it’s going to include 12 – a full
dozen — treat tubes. These are the perfect size for holding all
kinds of your favorite Valentine’s goodies. It also includes
three full-size sheets of some of your favorite cardstock in
white, Blush, and Hollyhock, plus this great new glitter paper.
It’s silver, it’s really heavy duty, and you’re gonna love
working with it. And, then of course, it includes the “Whooo’s
Your Valentine?” exclusive stamp set. This is a D-size set.
You’re gonna use this again and again, year after year. This is
gonna become one of your most favorite Valentine’s sets. And of
course, the product wouldn’t be complete without 12 pre-die cut
boxes for you. They’re already scored and everything so it makes
it really easy to assemble. Like I said, this is a great family
activity. So let’s see, I’m gonna make one of these right here.
I’ll make my little “Let’s Be Friends” one. Starts out so easily;
I’m gonna be working with some Slate ink. Ink that up and I’m
gonna stamp it on my Blush cardstock. You can just...really
there’s no wrong way to put this kit together. It’s all about
your own imagination, your own creativity because you can mix and
match the hearts, the fun owl shape, the different background and
texture, um, designs. We’ve got a fun chevron, some hearts. And
then we’ll just trim that out and the ‘To and From’ is perhaps one
of the most versatile images. You can use this on all kinds of
Valentine’s goodies throughout the season. Here we go. That’s
trimmed out just great. Then, let’s look at assembling these
boxes. It really is a snap. Like you can see they’re all
pre-scored so getting them to come together really is very, very
quick, even for the smallest hands in your family. And you’ll
notice that each one of these boxes has a little hole cut in the
top and a selvedge line. Now all we’re gonna do is it’s so easy,
just get your Tombow or another runner adhesive, I like to use a
permanent adhesive, of course. Um, and then you just fold and
adhere right along those lines. You don’t really even have to
hold it because it’s such an instant bond. And you’ll just
follow that with each one of the selvedge lines and your box
will come together very, very quickly. Seal that in the bottom
and then you’ve got the hole at the top which, as you can see,
is just the perfect size for that treat tube, for you to fill
it with all your favorite goodies and then decorate as you see
fit. Now here I’ve got a variety of them all in different
designs. You can create them all the same if you’ve got a
favorite design, you can mix it up a little bit and let your
little ones have a lot of fun. It is such a great kit, “Whooo’s
